Jury selection on Phil Spector Murder Trial begins today

• Music legend Phil Spector is accused of killing actress Lana Clarkson on February 3, 2003.
• Today after over 4 years, time qualification for prospect jurors will begin.  The length of the trial is projected to last 3 months so the first step in the jury selection is to determine which of the 300 jurors called can devote this much time.
• Those who can devote the time necessary will be asked to fill out a jury questionnaire that the lawyers will review over the next several weeks.
• Final jury selection and in court questioning will commence April 16th.
• They jury trial is expected to commence with Opening Statements on April 30th.
