Phil Spector Murder Case

Time qualified jurors were asked to fill out a questionnaire consisting of 15 pages including questions about:

• Attitudes about celebrities and high profile people
• Case knowledge and publicity
• Court procedures
• Fire arms
• Community attitudes
• Experiences in the legal system
• And a review of a potential witness list of over 175 names

Individual jury selection begins on April 16th.

Opening statements are scheduled to commence April 30th.

4 or 5 witnesses may be testifying regarding “prior bad acts”, i.e., allegations that Spector has brandished a weapon in amorous situations.

The trial is expected to last 3-4 months.
