Expectant father, Larry Birkhead, recently received a 112 page, $620,000 bill from his former attorney, Debra Opri.

The bill includes numerous hours of charges at $475 per hour, plus:

• 3 ea. $1500 monthly charges for Opri’s media consultants
• A $600 bill for gift dinner of lobster given to a family who allowed Opri and her client to stay in their house in the Bahamas.
• $4,265 for Cingular telephone roaming charges
• 18 limousine rides from DIVA Limos
• $2,583.81 for dinner charges while meeting with another lawyer in the Bahamas

Opri agreed to reduce the bill to slightly more that $511,000 if Birkhead agreed to pay immediately.

You can anticipate that Birkhead will go to the State Bar to dispute this billing.
